Newfire is seeking a Director of Data Engineering with SaaS experience to lead a team dedicated to building and scaling a next-generation clinical technology platform. This platform will serve as the foundation for all clinical data and operations across every line of business. By driving technical strategy, fostering innovation, and ensuring engineering excellence, this leader will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, scalable solutions. Their efforts will empower healthcare professionals with the technology needed to optimize care management, utilization management, and data-driven decision-making—ultimately improving healthcare outcomes for millions of Americans.
You’re a Perfect Match If You Have:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
10+ years of professional software development experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or management role.
Experience working with healthcare data sets.
Strong expertise in data architecting solutions and hands-on execution in complex, fast-paced environments.
A proven track record of cross-functional collaboration, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Experience building and managing cross-functional, distributed data engineering teams across multiple locations.
