Opportunity for impact
We’re searching for a Global Vice President of People Experience to help shape the next chapter of Newfire’s growth story.

This senior leader will connect business strategy with organizational design — aligning structure, leadership, culture, and systems to enable sustainable performance at scale.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP will craft and execute a cohesive global people strategy that strengthens leadership capability, enhances clarity, and ensures our people infrastructure grows in step with our commercial ambitions.

The role oversees HR, Recruiting, Resourcing, and Learning & Development, driving cohesion across all areas of our global People Experience organization.

Ideal Experience
  • ​Senior People or HR leader with a proven record leading transformation and scaling global organizations of 500+ employees within the Professional Services industry. 
  • Proven track record of HR operations excellence.
  • Experience in setting up Shared Services models from scratch. 
  • Expertise in organizational design, leadership development, and workforce strategy across both employee and contractor populations.
  • Experience leading annual HR budget planning and forecasting processes, translating business strategy into workforce investment plans. 
  • Deep understanding of global compliance and employment frameworks.
  • Fluency with modern HR technology, analytics, and data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to coach executives and influence cross-functional teams in dynamic, entrepreneurial settings.
  • Comfort operating at both strategic and hands-on levels with empathy, clarity, and discipline.

What You Will Lead
  1. Strategy and Transformation
    • Align the People Experience function with Newfire’s global delivery and strategic partnership model, driving scaled HR operational excellence through Centers of Excellence (COEs) and Shared Service Centers (SSC).
    • Elevate HR Business Partners to world-class standards, ensuring they act as strategic advisors and catalysts for growth.
    • Integrate performance management, leadership development (L&D), workforce planning and Compensation & Benefits into a unified system that connects objectives, accountability, and talent decisions.
    • Partner with the executive team to design structures that enable scale, speed, and collaboration.
    • Champion a culture of ownership, transparency, and measurable results.
  2. Global People Infrastructure 
    • Lead end-to-end HR shared services delivery, proactively anticipating business needs and customizing HR solutions to support operational excellence and cross-organizational collaboration.
    • Oversee HR operations across multiple countries while ensuring compliance with international employment and contractor frameworks.
    • Build scalable, data-driven systems that integrate Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Professional Services Automation (PSA), Learning Management System (LMS), HR Information System (HRIS), payroll, and analytics for real-time workforce insight.
    • Standardize processes for efficiency while maintaining local flexibility and compliance.
  3. Talent and Culture
    • Provide strategic leadership and alignment of global Talent with Newfire’s commercial roadmap, ensuring workforce planning, hiring strategy, and capability building directly enable business growth and delivery excellence.
    • Strengthen operational effectiveness by empowering the Director of Talent to build scalable systems, governance, and data-driven frameworks that improve predictability, quality, and speed while modernizing recruitment and assessment practices.
    • Develop and coach leaders to strengthen capability and decision-making at every level.
    • Foster engagement, inclusion, and belonging in a distributed, remote-first environment.
    • Leverage people analytics to uncover actionable insights on engagement, performance, and retention that drive strategic talent decisions and measurable business outcomes.
The Offer
Newfire Global is committed to consistent compensation practices across our organization. Total compensation for this role is market-driven, with a total salary of $200,000 - $225,000. Base pay is ultimately determined based on a candidate's skills, expertise, and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental & vision coverage, health spending accounts, voluntary benefits, leave of absence policies, Employee Assistance Program, 401(k) program with employer contribution, Flexible work schedules and time-off policy, as well as company equipment for all new full-time US-based remote employees.

In this step, you’ll meet with our HR Director for EMEA & APAC regions, who leads people strategy and organizational growth across diverse markets. This conversation focuses on your fit within our regional culture and operations, exploring how you collaborate, lead, and adapt in a global environment. It’s also a chance to understand how Newfire supports its people across different regions while maintaining one connected culture.
Stage 3

Interview with CoS

In this stage, you’ll meet with our Chief of Staff, who plays a key role in shaping our strategy and ensuring alignment across the organization. This conversation goes deeper into role framing and mutual fit, the specifics of the role, team dynamics, and expectations. It’s a chance to explore how your skills and approach fit into our broader mission — and for you to get a clear sense of how we operate, collaborate, and drive impact at Newfire.
Stage 4

Walkthrough & Strategy Discussion with CoS and HR Director

In this stage, you’ll meet again with our Chief of Staff and our HR Director for a deeper, strategic, scenario-based, and decision-making conversation. This is where we explore your approach to problem-solving and execution — walking through real scenarios to understand how you think, plan, and deliver results. It’s an opportunity to connect on strategic alignment, leadership mindset, and how you’d drive impact in this role and beyond.
Stage 5

Interview with Head of Advisory

In this step, you’ll meet our Head of Advisory & CTO, a senior leader who works closely with executives on complex, high-impact decisions. This stage reflects the strategic weight of this role.
The discussion centers on how you think, lead, and tackle people challenges in fast-moving environments, while giving you a clear sense of how we advise organizations through growth and transformation.
Stage 6

Interview with Care Lumen GM

In this conversation, you’ll meet the General Manager of Care Lumen, one of Newfire’s most critical client partners. This stage highlights the VP of People's role in shaping the success of this collaboration.
The discussion focuses on how you build strong executive partnerships, support high-scale delivery teams, and anticipate the needs of a major, fast-evolving client. It’s also a chance to understand how we work with Care Lumen and how your leadership approach would strengthen that relationship.
Stage 7

Interview with the CEO

In this final stage, you’ll meet with Newfire CEO. This conversation provides a broader perspective on our company’s vision, priorities, and culture. It’s a chance to discuss how your expertise and leadership approach align with where we’re headed as an organization. This step reflects our commitment to ensuring that every key hire connects not only with the role but also with Newfire’s long-term direction and values.
