Opportunity for impact

Newfire Global Partners, a leader in developing disruptive healthcare technology, collaborates with Fortune 500 companies and start-ups to drive transformation.

Newfire is seeking a Director of Product to help scale our product development efforts, serve as a player-coach for a growing team of product managers, and drive clarity and delivery across our most complex workstreams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves connecting business goals to user value, and can operate seamlessly across product, implementations, engineering, and customer success.

You’re a Perfect Match If You Have:
  • 10+ years of product management experience, ideally including 5+ years managing product teams in B2B SaaS or healthcare technology (or if you're a seasoned product director looking for something more mission driven, we'd love to hear that too).
  • Proven ability to lead product discovery and delivery in complex, regulated industries.
  • Experience working with clinical or operational users, and translating user insights into scalable workflows and tooling.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; you bring clarity to the ambiguous problems and rally cross-functional teams around the work that matters most.
  • Comfort working in an early-stage environment where prioritization, resourcefulness, and iteration are key.
  • Familiarity with enterprise health tech platforms and interoperability standards is a plus.
  • Strong fluency with agile practices, roadmapping tools, and frameworks like OKRs or outcome-based planning.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own and deliver key areas of the product roadmap aligned to core platform capabilities with a focus on key cross-cutting platform capabilities and backend processes allowing us to scale across multiple markets.
  • Act as player-coach for a growing team of PMs, providing strategic direction, direction, and accountability on execution and product thinking.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design leadership to drive cross-functional planning, estimation, and delivery for complex features and platform enhancements.
  • Partner with client stakeholders, internal customer success and training and adoption teams, and implementation leaders to translate regulatory and user needs into scalable, configurable product capabilities.
  • Continuously refine product development processes, rituals, and tooling to improve velocity, clarity, and collaboration.
  • Support research, prototyping, and validation efforts to ensure we’re building the right things in the right way.
  • Contribute to the development of state-specific feature configurations and help build a core platform that is adaptable to evolving Medicaid policy and payer needs.
  • Collaborate with Finance and leadership to assess product ROI, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
