Newfire Global Partners is hiring for a healthcare startup client and seeking a Director of Technical Services to serve as the internal and external point person for all things related to platform configuration and data migration. This role is the “glue” between our Implementation, Customer Success, and Product Configuration & Data Migration teams, ensuring deliverables across multiple projects are clearly tracked, dependencies are managed, and competing priorities are resolved in a structured, programmatic way. 

This is a highly visible, client-facing role that requires balancing internal coordination with customer communication. The ideal candidate is a natural problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects in motion and ensures configuration and data migration work support both onboarding and post-live customers. 
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • 10+ years of experience in technical project management, program management, or technical services delivery in SaaS, health-tech, or enterprise software. 
  • Strong background in managing cross-functional projects with multiple dependencies (configuration, data migration, integration endpoints, testing). 
  • Direct experience in planning, sequencing, and executing data migration workstreams is strongly preferred. 
  • Experience working directly with enterprise customers in a client-facing role. 
  • Demonstrated ability to balance multiple competing priorities and bring clarity in complex environments. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with customers and internal stakeholders. 
  • Experience leading small technical teams or serving as a “player-coach” preferred. 
  • Familiarity with healthcare, Medicaid/Medicare, or cloud-based care management solutions is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of coordination for product configuration and data migration across multiple implementations and live customer projects. 
  • Manage and articulate data migration timelines, ensuring teams are accountable to deliver their components on time. 
  • Ensure competing priorities, dependencies, and integration testing timelines are actively managed and communicated. 
  • Drive structured follow-up on all technical deliverables, ensuring accountability and transparency across internal teams. 
  • Partner with Implementation and Customer Success to ensure customer expectations are met and issues are resolved with urgency. 
  • Represent the configuration and migration functions in client meetings, providing updates and addressing technical project dependencies with professionalism. 
  • Develop repeatable processes and reporting structures that keep projects on track and risks visible. 
  • Mentor and provide guidance to a small but highly engaged configuration team working across multiple projects. 

Job Benefits
Newfire Global is committed to consistent compensation practices across our organization. Total compensation for this role is market driven, with a salary of $212,750 - $241,500. Base pay is ultimately determined based on a candidate's skills, expertise, and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental & vision coverage, health spending accounts, voluntary benefits, leave of absence policies, Employee Assistance Program, 401(k) program with employer contribution, Flexible work schedules and time-off policy, as well as company equipment for all new full-time US-based remote employees.
