Our client is a leader in providing affordable health care to a wide array of patients. You will work on a web application that will serve patient’s needs, allow them easier and faster access to necessary healthcare treatments and fasten up the process of approving healthcare insurance. Besides technical challenges laid in front you, you will also work on a project with a significant social impact.

We are seeking a versatile Hybrid QA Engineer to ensure high-quality delivery for our client. This role combines manual testing expertise with automation skills, contributing to test coverage, reliability, and faster release cycles. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced Agile environment and enjoys balancing hands-on testing with automation initiatives.

You’re a perfect match if you have:

Strong experience in manual QA testing for web applications
Hands-on experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, RestAssured)
Knowledge of programming/scripting (Java, JavaScript, or Python)
Understanding of API testing and validation
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
Good understanding of SDLC/STLC and Agile processes
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills

Nice to have:

Previous experience in healthcare applications
Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber / SpecFlow / Behave)
Knowledge of performance testing (JMeter, k6)
Cloud exposure (AWS / Azure)
Prior experience maintaining automated test frameworks

Your day-to-day activities:

Analyze requirements and design comprehensive manual test cases
Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and integration testing
Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests for critical workflows (UI and APIs)
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure testability
Track, report, and verify defects using Azure DevOps (Boards / Pipelines / Repos)
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests
Maintain test documentation, reports, and dashboards in Azure DevOps
Ensure compliance with healthcare standards (HIPAA / PHI awareness preferred)
