Newfire is seeking an Automated QA engineer who is interested in working with a mission-driven organization, helping to provide women's health services to poor and underserved communities. - Experience with Mobile Testing is a Plus - Experience with Javascript Testing Frameworks like Playwright is a plus

Our client is a leading platform that provides virtual care and telehealth experiences for care seekers in the field of reproductive healthcare across multiple states. As a top-ranked birth control app, it delivers convenient, safe, and private care through web and mobile applications. The services include birth control, UTI treatment, emergency contraception, and telemedicine abortion, with a strong focus on quality and patient satisfaction.

You’re a perfect match if you have:

5+ years of commercial experience in AQA
7+ years of relevant QA technical experience within an agile environment
Full understanding of QA activities within Software Development Life Cycle (Smoke, Regression, etc.)
Deep experience in Web and API testing
Experienced with JavaScript testing tools such as Playwright or WebdriverIO.
Good understanding of OOP principles
Knowledge of SQL syntax for data validation
Ability to understand and create clear, concise, detail-oriented test plans/cases from requirements or verbal communications
Experienced with Atlassian Suite (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
Experienced in GIT source control, GitLab, Linux Command Line, Virtualization Tools
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Track record of working in Scrum / Agile software teams
At least Intermediate spoken and written English
Experience in the healthcare domain is preferred

Your day-to-day activities:

Perform testing of web-based applications
Design, write, and execute test cases and test plans
Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members
Design and execute performance, load tests
Work with the developers to resolve issues
Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements, and design test coverage
Identify any potential quality issues per the defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management
Help with issue classification and triage - isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes
Day-to-day communication with the customer
Identify positive and negative use cases, etc
Plan, design, and create automated API and UI tests
Document and maintain automation test suites and other test artifacts
