Newfire is seeking a Technical Product Owner.


What's the project? 

The client is a large US-based company from the healthcare market. We are running a multi-phase, 2 years running focusing on replacement of the clinical and data platform, replacing the current system. The work will be concentrated on delivering a flexible and configurable workflow solution. You will work in a mid-size team (20-40 people), predominantly based in Central Europe, with a client in the United States. This will be an exciting, greenfield project in a highly demanding but also rewarding environment of modern healthcare, based on cloud architectures, in data-driven and AI-enhanced environment.
You’re a perfect match if you have:
  • 5+ work experience as a Technical Product Owner or Business Analyst or similar role in product management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of the User Story, DoR, and DoD
  • Understanding of all aspects of product life-cycle from product concept, definition, and specification to implementation, release, production, revision, maintenance, and support
  • Understanding healthcare domain and accompanying subjects (information exchange standards, drug databases, HIPAA, clinical treatments)
  • Understanding Agile and its most popular frameworks  (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills with a focus on detail as well as the big picture 
  • Excellent documentation skills with the ability to succinctly and clearly communicate business and technical requirements 
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • As a Senior team member, you will be expected to actively participate in our hiring processes by serving on interview panels for future roles across the company

Your day-to-day activities:
  • Support the vision and strategy laid out by the Product Manager
  • Work closely with the Product Manager and SMEs to maintain Product Backlog
  • Partners with driving out design and validating clinical workflow and data interfaces
  • Partner with the team on driving out technical design, estimates, and the delivery
  • Requirements elicitation, documenting and management (functional, non-functional, quality attributes), constructing workflow charts and diagrams
  • Develop clear User Stories that correspond to DoR
  • Participate in UAT
