Newfire is seeking a Senior UX Designer with SaaS experience to drive the modernization and spearhead the development of a unified, next-generation clinical technology platform for a current healthcare client. This new platform will serve as the foundation for all clinical data and operations across every line of business. By creating a robust and innovative solution, this leader will enable enhanced care management, utilization management, and data-driven decision-making—ultimately working to improve healthcare outcomes for millions of Americans.

You’re a Perfect Match If You Have:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Industrial Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent experience.
4-8 years of UX design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating complex problem-solving
Strong portfolio demonstrating your experience designing healthcare applications, enterprise software, or other complex systems to achieve measurable goals
Proven track record of applying user research to drive design decisions
Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills, including experience explaining how design decisions are made, presenting to executive audiences
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Whimsical, and Miro, with an inclination toward designing openly and collaboratively.
Experience working remotely and collaborating effectively across distributed teams
Comfortable working within Agile software teams, but familiar with other methodologies to deliver quality experiences.
Passion for improving healthcare delivery and making software that genuinely helps frontline caregivers
Growth mindset and interest in shaping UX culture and processes in a rapidly scaling organization

Role & responsibilities

The Senior UX Designer on this transformative project is responsible for the following:

Lead design engagements for healthcare software used by thousands of care managers, medical directors, and service coordinators daily
Pair with the UX Research team to conduct user research, gathering insights and validating design decisions with user interviews and moderated or unmoderated user testing.
Design complex enterprise applications that serve multiple user roles (care managers, case reviewers, medical directors, patients, and families)
Pair with product managers and technical leads to manage stakeholder relationships and deliver projects on time
Present design concepts and research findings to healthcare organization leadership and contribute to client pitches
Help establish and evolve UX methodologies and processes as our team grows
Navigate healthcare constraints and organizational complexity while maintaining user-centered design principles
Experiment with emerging AI technologies to enhance our UX design process

The Offer

Newfire Global is committed to consistent compensation practices across our organization. Total compensation for this role is market driven, with a salary of $115000 - $144000. Base pay is ultimately determined based on a candidate's skills, expertise, and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental & vision coverage, health spending accounts, voluntary benefits, leave of absence policies, Employee Assistance Program, 401(k) program with employer contribution, Flexible work schedules and time-off policy, as well as company equipment for all new full-time US-based remote employees.
