Newfire Global Partners is hiring for a healthcare startup client and seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Training Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to our clients, focusing on payer workflows within a clinical technology platform. In your role, you will specialize in one or more of the following areas: Care Management (CM), Utilization Management (UM), or Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS). The Training Lead/Senior Training Specialist will report to the Senior Director of Training & Adoption and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective training delivery and client satisfaction.



You’re a Perfect Match If You Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • 6 - 8+ years of experience in training, instructional design, or learning and development—healthcare and payer experience is required.
  • Expertise in instructional design models and adult learning principles.
  • Proven experience building and facilitating virtual training programs using modern tools and methodologies.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills—able to explain complex topics clearly and confidently.
  • Ability to manage projects independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with training tools and platforms (e.g., PowerPoint, Articulate, LMS).
  • EST work hours required or ability to align with EST as standard.
  • Experience leading or mentoring a team of trainers a plus but not required.

Role & responsibilities
The Senior Training Associate on this transformative project is responsible for the following: 

  • Design, develop, and deliver high-quality virtual training programs focused on payer workflows (Care Management, Utilization Management, LTSS).
  • Assess and update existing training materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with modern learning practices.
  • Build engaging training assets including slide decks, user guides, job aids, and eLearning content.
  • Facilitate virtual instructor-led sessions for external clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct training needs assessments and tailor programs to specific job roles and learner personas.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure content reflects the latest functionality.
  • Own training initiatives from start to finish with minimal coaching—this is a self-directed, senior-level position.
  • Gather feedback and recommend improvements to continuously enhance the learner experience.
  • Help define scalable training processes as the training team expands under new leadership.
  • Mentor and guide a growing Training team, helping to ensure high-quality program delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in recruiting activities, playing a significant role in scaling the team.
The Offer
Newfire Global is committed to consistent compensation practices across our organization. Total compensation for this role is market-driven, with a salary of $85,000 - $105,000. Base pay is ultimately determined based on a candidate's skills, expertise, and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental & vision coverage, health spending accounts, voluntary benefits, leave of absence policies, Employee Assistance Program, 401(k) program with employer contribution, Flexible work schedules and time-off policy, as well as company equipment for all new full-time US-based remote employees.
