Senior/Lead AQA Engineer (Cypress)

In building this platform, they are focused on providing agency, reliability, and transparency to their members
The current healthcare system is not accountable to the patients it serves. Therefore, to achieve the mission, our client believes it is imperative to build and retain direct (paying) relationships with the LGBTQ+ community by offering them products that meet critical needs and delight them. Over time this will result in our client, on behalf of the community, being able to remake more and more of the currently broken system from the inside out.
We are looking for highly motivated and passionate individuals who will help enhance the user experiences of our services and help bring our Member Portal to the next level.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automated testing, with a focus on Typescript/Node testing framework (Cypress preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience using Typescript Node testing frameworks (Jest preferred)
• Strong knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies, including BDD and TDD
• Experience in creating and maintaining automated test suites using GitHub Actions
• Ability to understand and create test plans from requirements
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to implement a mature test automation suite without much guidance
• Experience working in Agile environment and ability to perform own work without much guidance
• Proactive and delivery oriented mind set

• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as React
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices
• Experience in the healthcare industry

• Lead AQA efforts on the project
• Developing and executing automated tests using Cypress to ensure the quality of the application
• Collaborating closely with the development team to ensure that the application meets business and user needs
• Creating and maintaining test automation frameworks
• Developing and maintaining test plans and test cases
• Participating in code reviews and ensuring that the codebase meets quality and performance standards
